The China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Panda has launched a nationwide campaign, asking the public to suggest their favorite name for a giant panda cub born last year.

The male panda is one of the 42 cubs born at the center's Bifengxia base in Ya'an City, southwest China's Sichuan Province in 2017. Comparing with its other furry peers, this boy is a sports fanatic who loves chasing people around and sneaking out of its nursery room for outdoor adventures.

He is also a foodie with good appetite, an avid milk drinker who always finishes his milk bowl and will often resist when the breeder tries to take the bowl away from him .

The energetic panda's naming campaign was jointly initiated by the center and China Central Television on the latter's news outlet, and subscribers can submit their favorite names through cellphone.
