A sea of clouds offered a majestic view over mountains in Fengdu County of southwest China's Chongqing Municipality on Monday.

Gilded by the morning sun, a vast sea of clouds floated up and down, attracting photographers to capture the stunning view even in the early morning.

"The sea of clouds is very special today. When the sun came out and the sunlight dyed the clouds a splendid gold. The pictures are so beautiful," said a tourist.

"Today I came here with my friends. It's my first time to see this. Very rewarding and very magnificent," said another tourist.

Spring is the best sight-viewing season of the sea of clouds, especially after it rains.
