China and Burkina Faso signed a joint communique on Saturday on resuming diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level.

The communique was signed by Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Burkina Faso's Foreign Minister Alpha Barry in Beijing.

The communique states that Burkina Faso acknowledges there is only one China in the world and the government of the People's Republic of China is the sole legitimate government representing China and Taiwan is an inalienable part of the Chinese territory.

Wang said the one-China principle is a commonly accepted norm in the international relations, a general consensus reached by the international community and a fundamental precondition and political basis for China to develop relations with any country.

Any attempt to split China and any adverse current to stop the history from moving forward are like a mantis trying to stop a chariot, which is bound to fail.

"Resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Burkina Faso has triggered the momentum of bilateral cooperation. The two countries all have the intention to make up for the loss of more than 20 years. I've exchanged views with Burkina Faso's Foreign Minister Barry on cooperation between China and Burkina Faso after resuming diplomatic relations. Wang said the resumption of diplomatic relations between China and Burkina Faso has been the fervent aspirations of the Chinese and African people and now that the big Sino-African friendship family has added a new important member.

"China and Africa have, for long, been looking forward to the big family reunion and to having a family photo as early as possible. Today, we've moved a step closer to the goal. Currently, there is only one country in Africa that hasn't established diplomatic relations with China. We sincerely hope that country would join our Sino-African friendship family. I believe that all the African brothers will firmly stand with us in the historical course of China fully realizing its reunification," said Wang.

Barry said Burkina Faso has severed diplomatic ties with Taiwan and would not have any official relations and contacts with it.

"[Resuming the diplomatic ties with China] conforms to the vision of Burkina Faso's President Kabore and the will of the people in Burkina Faso," said Barry.

Barry said Burkina Faso expects to establish a close partnership with China.

La Chine et le Burkina Faso ont signé, samedi à Beijing, un communiqué conjoint pour reprendre leurs relations diplomatiques.

Le communiqué a été signé à Beijing par Wang Yi, conseiller d'État et ministre des Affaires étrangères de la Chine, et Alpha Barry, ministre des Affaires étrangères du Burkina Faso.

Le communiqué indique que le Burkina Faso reconnaît qu'il n'y a qu'une seule Chine dans le monde, que le gouvernement de la République populaire de Chine est le seul gouvernement légitime représentant la Chine et que Taïwan fait partie intégrante du territoire chinois.

M. Wang a insisté que le principe d'une seule Chine est une norme régissant les relations internationales universellement reconnue, un consensus général atteint par la communauté internationale, une condition préalable fondamentale et une base politique pour que la Chine développe ses relations avec n'importe quel pays.

"La reprise des relations diplomatiques entre la Chine et le Burkina Faso a déclenché une dynamique de coopération bilatérale. La reprise des relations diplomatiques avec la Chine est "conforme non seulement à la vision du président Kaboré, mais aussi à la volonté officielle du peuple burkinabè'', a déclaré M. Barry, ajoutant que son pays espère établir un partenariat étroit avec la Chine.

Le président du Burkina Faso, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré, participera au sommet du Forum sur la coopération sino-africaine (FCSA) prévu en septembre à Beijing.

أعلنت الصين وبوركينا فاسو استئناف العلاقات الدبلوماسية في بيان مشترك وقعه عضو مجلس الدولة ووزير الخارجية الصيني وانغ يي ووزير خارجية بوركينا فاسو ألفا باري في بكين يوم السبت/ 26 مايو الجاري.

وأشار البيان الى أن استئناف العلاقات يتفق مع مصالح وأمنيات شعبي البلدين. واتفقت الحكومتان على تطوير علاقات ودية ترتكز على مبادئ الاحترام المتبادل للسيادة ووحدة الأراضي وعدم تدخل أي من الطرفين في الشؤون الداخلية للطرف الآخر والمساواة والمنفعة المتبادلة والتعايش السلمي.

وتعترف حكومة بوركينا فاسو بأنه لا توجد سوى صين واحدة بالعالم وأن حكومة جمهورية الصين الشعبية هي الحكومة الشرعية الوحيدة التي تمثل كل الصين وأن تايوان جزء لا يتجزأ من الأراضي الصينية.

وقال وانغ إن مبدأ "صين واحدة" يعد معيارا معترفا به للعلاقات الدولية، وهو توافق عام توصل إليه المجتمع الدولي وكذلك شرط سياسي أساسي لتطوير العلاقات مع أي دولة بالنسبة للصين.

كما أكد أن أي محاولة لتقسيم الصين أو أي تيار معاكس لمنع تقدم التاريخ محكوم عليه بالفشل.

وقال، "استئناف العلاقات الدبلوماسية مع الصين يتفق مع رؤية رئيس بوركينا فاسو كابور وإرادة شعب بوركينا فاسو."

وأضاف باري ان بوركينا فاسو تتطلع الى إقامة شراكة وثيقة مع الصين.

ومن المقرر أن يحضر رئيس بوركينا فاسو روش مارك كريستيان كابور قمة منتدى التعاون الصيني الأفريقي المزمع عقدها في سبتمبر المقبل في بكين.

Член Госсовета, глава МИД КНР Ван И и министр иностранных дел Буркина-Фасо Альфа Барри 26 мая в Пекине подписали совместное коммюнике о восстановлении дипломатических отношений между двумя странами. С того же дня двусторонние дипотношения на уровне послов был официально восстановлены.

China y Burkina Faso anunciaron el pasado sábado la reanudación de las relaciones diplomáticas en un comunicado conjunto firmado en Beijing por el consejero de Estado y ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de China, Wang Yi, y el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Burkina Faso, Alpha Barry.

El comunicado indicó que la reanudación de los lazos va de acuerdo con los intereses y deseos de los pueblos de ambos países.

Los dos gobiernos acordaron desarrollar relaciones de amistad con base en los principios de respeto mutuo de soberanía e integridad territorial, no agresión, no interferencia en los asuntos internos, igualdad, beneficio mutuo y coexistencia pacífica, añadió el comunicado.

El gobierno de Burkina Faso prometió no sostener relaciones oficiales ni intercambios oficiales con Taiwan, indicó el comunicado. La nación africana anunció el jueves anterior su decisión de romper sus relaciones "diplomáticas" con Taiwan.

En una conferencia de prensa después de la reunión, Wang Yi dijo que China aprecia altamente al gobierno de Burkina Faso por tomar una decisión política correcta.
