Polish football fans are confident their team will defeat Senegal at the team's 2018 World Cup debut on Tuesday.

The match between Poland and Senegal is the first match for teams in Group H, the only group that doesn't include any previous World Cup winners.

Football fans think the teams in Group H are similarly matched, so their games will be competitive. Polish football fans have great expectations for Robert Lewandowski, the first European player to score 16 goals in a FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.


"We'll win because we are better. And I think Lewandowski will score two or three goals because his form is the best in his life," said Constantine, a football fan.

"He's still one of the best strikers in the football world. He's as good as Fernando, in my opinion, as good as Messi, as good as Mane, as good as Gareth Bale. It will be his tournament. And I hope that Poland will get as far as we can," added Matthew, another fan.

Restaurants and pubs across Poland are totally booked as football fans prepare to cheer on their team in the 2018 World Cup.
