China will further open its A-shares market to foreign investors, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) announced on Wednesday.

Foreign individuals working in the Chinese mainland will be allowed to open A-shares securities accounts starting from September 15. Meanwhile, those who work overseas at companies listed on the A-shares market are also eligible to be granted the equity incentive.

The China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited (CSDC) confirms the scope of qualified foreign individuals and application materials.
