Chinese Vice Premier Liu He on Thursday met with Luis Alberto Moreno, president of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), with both officials looking forward to the bank playing a bigger role in China-Latin America cooperation.

Liu said Chinese President Xi Jinping attaches great importance to relations with Latin America, adding that the initiative put forward by Xi of jointly building a community of a shared future for humanity has been warmly received by Latin American and Caribbean states.

China hopes that IDB will continue to serve as a bridge in terms of cooperation between China and Latin America, helping to boost practical cooperation between the two sides, and advancing the Belt and Road Initiative, the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, finance, poverty reduction, and other sectors, said Liu.

IDB is a leading source of development financing for Latin America and the Caribbean.

Noting that 2019 marks the 10th anniversary of China's accession to IDB, Moreno said the bank is ready to use the occasion to promote its cooperation with China in more fields and to a higher level.

Le vice-Premier ministre chinois Liu He a rencontré jeudi Luis Alberto Moreno, président de la Banque interaméricaine de développement (BID). Les deux responsables espèrent que la banque jouera un rôle plus important dans la coopération Chine-Amérique latine.

La Chine accorde une grande importance à ses relations avec l'Amérique latine, a déclaré M. Liu, ajoutant que l'initiative proposée par le président chinois Xi Jinping de construire conjointement une communauté de destin pour l'humanité avait été accueillie chaleureusement par les pays d'Amérique latine et des Caraïbes.

La Chine espère que la BID continuera à servir de pont en termes de coopération entre la Chine et l'Amérique latine, contribuant à stimuler la coopération pragmatique entre les deux parties et faisant progresser l'initiative 'la Ceinture et la Route', le développement des petites et moyennes entreprises, le financement, la réduction de la pauvreté ainsi que d'autres secteurs, a-t-il indiqué.

La BID est l'une des principales sources de financement du développement en Amérique latine et dans les Caraïbes.

Notant que 2019 marquera le 10e anniversaire de l'adhésion de la Chine à la BID, M. Moreno a annoncé que la banque était prête à profiter de l'occasion pour promouvoir sa coopération avec la Chine dans davantage de domaines et à un niveau supérieur.

وأضاف "نأمل أن يواصل البنك القيام بدوره كجسر فيما يتعلق بالتعاون بين الصين وأمريكا اللاتينية ليساعد في تعزيز التعاون العملي بين الجانبين ودفع مبادرة الحزام والطريق وتنمية الشركات المتوسطة والصغيرة والشؤون المالية والحد من الفقر وقطاعات أخرى."

ويعد بنك التنمية للبلدان الأمريكية مصدرا رئيسيا لتمويل التنمية في أمريكا اللاتينية والكاريبي.

ومشيرا إلى أن العام 2019 يوافق الذكرى العاشرة لانضمام الصين للبنك، قال مورينو إن البنك على استعداد لاستغلال المناسبة لتعزيز التعاون مع الصين في مجالات أخرى وعلى مستوى أعلى.

По сообщению ИА "Синьхуа", встреча состоялась 18 октября. На ней Лю Хэ заявил, что председатель КНР Си Цзиньпин придает серьезное значение развитию китайско-латиноамериканских отношений и предложил совместно продвигать строительство Мирового сообщества с единой судьбой, на что активно откликнулись страны Латинской Америки и Карибского бассейна.

Лю Хэ выразил надежду, что МАБР, продолжая играть роль моста в китайско-латиноамериканском сотрудничестве, будет способствовать дальнейшему углублению прагматичного сотрудничества сторон в таких сферах, как реализация инициативы "Один пояс и один путь", развитие среднего и малого бизнеса, финансы, сокращение масштабов бедности.

El vice primer ministro de China, Liu He, se reunió el pasado jueves con Luis Alberto Moreno, presidente del Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID) en Beijing, en donde ambos funcionarios indicaron esperar que el BID pueda desempeñar un papel más importante en la cooperación China-América Latina.

Liu afirmó que el presidente chino Xi Jinping otorga gran importancia a las relaciones con América Latina, agregando que la iniciativa presentada por Xi para construir conjuntamente una comunidad de destino para la humanidad ha sido cálidamente recibida por los países de América Latina y el Caribe.

China desea que el BID continúe sirviendo como puente en la cooperación entre China y América Latina, ayudando a impulsar la cooperación práctica entre ambas partes, y avanzando en la Iniciativa de la Franja y la Ruta, el desarrollo de pequeñas y medianas empresas, las finanzas y la reducción de la pobreza, entre otros sectores, anotó Liu.
