"At the invitation of governments of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon, Chinese President Xi Jinping's special representative Yang Jiechi, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, will pay an official visit to UAE, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon from Jan. 13 to 19 and attend the World Future Energy Summit held in the UAE."

Chinese President Xi Jinping's special representative Yang Jiechi will pay an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon from Jan. 13 to 19, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang announced at a regular press briefing in Beijing on Friday.

"At the invitation of governments of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon, Chinese President Xi Jinping's special representative Yang Jiechi, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, will pay an official visit to UAE, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea and Cameroon from Jan. 13 to 19," said Lu.

Yang will also attend the World Future Energy Summit held in the UAE, Lu added.
