"In fact, for some time, more and more countries have shown a fair attitude towards Chinese technology companies' participation in 5G construction. This also proves once again that most of the countries in the world still can independently make policy choices in line with their own interests based on objective facts, and remain committed to building and maintaining a fair, just and non-discriminatory market environment."

More and more countries have shown a fair attitude towards Chinese technology companies' participation in 5G network construction, Lu Kang, spokesman of China's Foreign Ministry, said on Thursday.
Lu made the remarks at a press conference in Beijing in response to a recent statement of President of Germany's Federal Network Agency Jochen Homann that no equipment suppliers, including Huawei, should or may be specifically excluded.
Meanwhile, a spokesman with Belgium's Center for Cyber Security said they have found no evidence that telecoms equipment supplied by Huawei Technology poses any spy threat.

China hopes related countries could give Chinese enterprises fair and just treatment, and is willing to deepen trade and investment cooperation in a wide range of fields with countries that can do this on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, said the spokesman.
