Several heads of state and government and UNESCO Director-General on Wednesday praised China for injecting positive energy into promoting civilization exchanges and mutual learning and building a community with a shared future for mankind.

Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni, Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos, Singaporean President Halimah Yacob, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Director-General of United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) Audrey Azoulay made the remarks when they spoke at the opening ceremony of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations (CDAC) respectively.

Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni said he highly appreciate Chinese President Xi Jinping's great vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind, which enables all countries in the world to value harmony and share a common destiny.

Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos said dialogue among civilizations, as well as the conference advocated by Xi, is important to people in Greece, the Europe and the West. Through his participation and the participation of UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay, the conference is not limited to a dialogue among Asian civilizations, but is also open to Western countries, he said, adding that the westerners also look east.

Singapore President Halimah Yacob, said the CDAC advocated by Xi has set a good example for other countries on promoting dialogue among civilizations.

President of Sri Lanka Maithripala Sirisena said that a civilization should not replace another. The civilization and culture of any country should not be bound by any international organization or other forces and they should be equal and independent, he said.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said close exchange with regional and global partners is the only way for the country to achieve development.

UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay said the conference is a dialogue between individuals and the world and a tribute to the deep ties of peoples from different countries for thousands of years.
She said that the UNESCO is dedicated to develop the education that will “facilitate human dignity and dialogue, oppose extremism and be inclusive” and “provide equal opportunities to women and girls”. She also paid tribute to Professor Peng Liyuan for her support in this area.

Under the theme of "exchanges and mutual learning among Asian civilizations and a community with a shared future", The week-long event includes an opening ceremony, panel discussions, an Asian culture carnival and Asian Civilization Week involving more than 110 activities to showcase the diversity and charm of Asian civilizations.

Mercredi, plusieurs chefs d'État et de gouvernement ainsi que la directrice générale de l'UNESCO ont fait l’éloge de la Chine pour la dynamique positive qu’elle insuffle dans la promotion des échanges de civilisation et de l'apprentissage mutuel, ainsi que pour ses efforts dans l’édification d'une communauté de destin pour l'humanité.

Le roi Norodom Sihamoni du Cambodge a déclaré qu'il appréciait grandement la vision du président chinois Xi Jinping de bâtir une communauté avec un avenir commun pour l’humanité, ce qui permet à tous les pays du monde de valoriser l’harmonie et de partager un destin commun.

Le président grec Prokopis Pavlopoulos a indiqué que le dialogue entre les civilisations, ainsi que la conférence préconisée par le président Xi, est important pour les peuples en Grèce, en Europe et en Occident. Par sa participation et celle de la directrice générale de l'UNESCO, Audrey Azoulay, la conférence ne se limite pas à un dialogue entre les civilisations asiatiques, mais elle est également ouverte aux pays occidentaux, a-t-il déclaré, ajoutant que les Occidentaux prêtent également attention à l'Orient.

La présidente singapourienne, Halimah Yacob, a déclaré que la Conférence sur le dialogue des civilisations asiatiques donne un bon exemple aux autres pays en matière de promotion du dialogue entre les civilisations.

Le Premier ministre arménien Nikol Pashinyan a déclaré qu’un échange étroit avec des partenaires régionaux et mondiaux est le seul moyen pour le pays de se développer.

C’est pourquoi l’UNESCO s’est engagée à promouvoir les échanges et les recherches culturelles et scientifiques ainsi que l’application de ces recherches. Le long de la Route de la soie, au cours des 30 dernières années, 25 pays ont déjà participé et les résultats sont également publiés sur le site Web», a déclaré Audrey Azoulay, directrice générale de l’UNESCO.

Pour rappel, des représentants de 47 pays asiatiques et de pays en dehors de la région ont participé à cet événement.

أشاد العديد من قادة الدول والحكومات والمديرة العامة لمنظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة (اليونسكو) يوم الأربعاء/ 15 مايو الجاري بدور الصين في تعزيز التبادلات والتعلم المتبادل بين مختلف الحضارات، وبناء مجتمع ذي مستقبل مشترك للبشرية.

جاء ذلك في كلمات ألقاها كل من ملك كمبوديا نورودوم سيهاموني، والرئيس اليوناني بروكوبيس بافلوبولوس، ورئيسة سنغافورة حليمة يعقوب، ورئيس سيريلانكا مايثريبالا سيريسنا، ورئيس وزراء أرمينيا نيكول باشينيان، والمديرة العامة لليونسكو أودري أزولاي، خلال الجلسة الافتتاحية لمؤتمر حوار الحضارات الآسيوية.

وذكرت الرئيسة حليمة يعقوب في كلمتها أن مؤتمر حوار الحضارات الآسيوية الذي دعا إليه الرئيس الصيني شي جين بينغ قد قدم مثالا جيدًا للدول الأخرى في مجال التبادل الحضاري.

وقالت يعقوب: "من المؤكد أن نموذج الرئيس شي جين بينغ في تنظيم هذا المؤتمر هو نموذج جيد للغاية حول كيفية إجراء الحوار، في إطار الحضارات الآسيوية وكذلك الحوار الذي يمتد إلى الحضارات الأخرى في العالم، وأنا أتفق مع كل النقاط التي ذكرها المتحدثون السابقون. هذا هو ما يتعين علينا القيام به، فهم أفضل لحضاراتنا، وخلق الوئام والاحترام والتسامح والفهم، ولكن هذا لا يعني أن حضارتنا يجب أن تكون إستثنائية، بل ينبغي أن تكون حضارة يمكنها العمل مع الحضارات الأخرى لأن هذا التنوع من شأنه إثراء العالم وتعزيزه."

وقال نيكول باشينيان، رئيس وزراء أرمينيا، إن التبادل الوثيق مع الشركاء الإقليميين والعالميين هو السبيل الوحيد لتحقيق تنمية بلاده.

ولفتت الى أن اليونسكو تكرس نفسها لتطوير التعليم الذي "يسهل الكرامة الإنسانية والحوار، ويعارض التطرف ويوفر فرصاً متساوية للنساء والفتيات".

ويُعقد مؤتمر حوار الحضارات الآسيوية في بكين خلال الفترة من 15 إلى 22 مايو، تحت موضوع "تعميق التبادلات والتعلم المتبادل بين الحضارات، وبناء مجتمع ذي مصير مشترك في آسيا بشكل مشترك"، بحضور أكثر من 2000 مسؤول حكومي وممثل عن مختلف الدوائر من 47 دولة آسيوية ودول أخرى خارج المنطقة.

ويتضمن المؤتمر الذي يمتد أسبوعا الجلسة الافتتاحية، وحلقات نقاشية، والكرنفال الثقافي الآسيوي وأسبوع الثقافة الآسيوية الذي يضم أكثر من 110 نشاطات ثقافية لإظهار تنوع الحضارات الآسيوية وسحرها.
