A massive explosion hit a gas plant, causing multiple injuries in the city of Sanmenxia, central China's Henan Province on Friday afternoon.

At about 17:45, the blast hit, shattering the glass windows in many buildings within a three kilometer radius of the plant.

The injured were transported to hospitals immediately after the accident, and no death was found.

The exact number of casualties is still under investigation and two people remain missing by around 19:40.

وقع انفجار هائل في مصنع للغاز يوم الجمعة/19 يوليو الجاري في مدينة سانمنشيا بمقاطعة خنان وسط الصين، ما تسبب في العديد من الإصابات.

ووقع الحادث حوالي الساعة 17:45 مساء الجمعة، حيث تحطمت النوافذ الزجاجية للعديد من المباني.

وقد تم نقل المصابين إلى المستشفيات فور وقوع الحادث، ولم يتم الإبلاغ عن أي وفاة.

ويجري تحقيق في الحادث حاليا، ولا يزال شخصان في عداد المفقودين حتى الساعة 19:40 مساء.
