The civilian parade will proceed in a chronological way of story-telling, with each formation presenting a scenario and a section of story, so as to review together with the audience the New China's growth and struggles over the 70 years. The paraders will come from all trades, professions, and ethnic groups and represent all walks of life. We are also to set up make-shift reviewing stands at the square so that more people could watch the parade on the spot."
