China reiterated its strong indignation and firm opposition to the U.S. House of Representatives' passing of the so-called Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act 2019, said a Foreign Ministry spokesman on Wednesday.

The U.S. House of Representatives passed the act, proposed by some congressmen, on Tuesday local time despite strong opposition from the Chinese government.

Geng Shuang, the spokesman, expressed China's strong indignation and firm opposition in a press statement on Wednesday morning, and reiterated China's position at a regular press briefing in the afternoon.

"We express our strong indignation and firm opposition to the U.S. House of Representatives' passing of the so-called Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act. La Chine a exprimé mercredi sa vive indignation et sa ferme opposition face à l'adoption par la Chambre des représentants des États-Unis du "projet de loi sur les droits de l'homme et la démocratie à Hong Kong", a déclaré Geng Shuang, porte-parole du ministère des Affaires étrangères dans un communiqué de presse.

La Chambre des représentants des États-Unis a adopté mardi le projet de loi proposé par certains membres du Congrès, malgré la ferme opposition du gouvernement chinois.

Après avoir fait cette déclaration mercredi matin, M. Geng a réitéré la position de la Chine lors d'un point de presse régulier dans l'après-midi.

Стоит отметить, что ранее в этот же день в первой половине дня уже была озвучена позиция Китая по данному вопросу.

"Китай выражает сильное негодование и решительный протест в связи с принятием Палатой представителей Конгресса США так называемого Законопроекта о правах человека и демократии в Сянгане. Китайская сторона сегодня в первой половине дня уже дала исчерпывающий комментарий, здесь стоит отметить, что официальный представитель МИД КНР и некоторые другие ведомства также уже высказали свою позицию по данному вопросу", – заявил на пресс-конференции Гэн Шуан.

"Еще раз подчеркну, что мы будем принимать решительные меры по противодействию неверным решениям и действиям американской стороны, наносящим ущерб интересам Китая, а также будем твердо отстаивать свои суверенитет, безопасность и интересы развития", – заявил дипломат.

China reiteró su fuerte indignación y firme oposición a la aprobación de la Cámara de Representantes de Estados Unidos (EEUU) de la llamada "Ley de Derechos Humanos y Democracia de Hong Kong de 2019", enfatizó hoy miércoles un portavoz del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores.

La Cámara de Representantes de EEUU aprobó el pasado martes la ley propuesta por algunos congresistas, a pesar de la fuerte oposición del gobierno chino.

Geng Shuang, el portavoz, expresó la fuerte indignación de China y su firme oposición en un comunicado el mismo miércoles por la mañana, y reiteró la posición de China en una rueda de prensa regular en la tarde del mismo día.

"Expresamos nuestra fuerte indignación y firme oposición a la insistencia de la Cámara de Representantes de EEUU en aprobar la llamada ´Ley de Derechos Humanos y Democracia de Hong Kong´.
