"There are abundant facts and evidence proving that NGOs like the National Endowment for Democracy have been supporting anti-China rioters in Hong Kong by providing funds, materials, training and other assistance, and strongly inciting them to conduct extreme and violent crimes while instigating separatist activities for 'Hong Kong independence'. These organizations bear major responsibilities for Hong Kong's chaotic situation. They should be sanctioned and pay their price for what they've done."

Organizations which have been supporting anti-China rioters to disturb Hong Kong must be sanctioned and pay the price, said a spokeswoman for Chinese Foreign Ministry on Tuesday.

Hua Chunying, the spokeswoman, made the remarks at a press briefing when explaining China's decision to take sanctions against some U.S. non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

The NGOs include the National Endowment for Democracy, National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, International Republican Institute, Human Rights Watch and Freedom House.

"There are abundant facts and evidence proving that NGOs like the National Endowment for Democracy have been supporting anti-China rioters in Hong Kong by providing funds, materials, training and other assistance, and strongly inciting them to conduct extreme and violent crimes while instigating separatist activities for 'Hong Kong independence'," said Hua.

"These organizations bear major responsibilities for Hong Kong's chaotic situation. They should be sanctioned and pay their price for what they've done," Hua added.

Les organisations non gouvernementales qui soutiennent les émeutiers de Hong Kong doivent être sanctionnées, a déclaré mardi Hua Chunying, porte-parole du ministère chinois des Affaires étrangères lors d'une conférence de presse où elle expliquait la décision de Beijing d'infliger des sanctions à l'encontre de certaines ONG américaines, parmi lesquelles National Endowment for Democracy, National Democratic Institute for International Affairs, International Republican Institute, Human Rights Watch et Freedom House.

"De nombreux faits et preuves prouvent que des ONG comme National Endowment for Democracy soutiennent les émeutiers anti-gouvernementaux à Hong Kong, en leur offrant des fonds, du matériel et des formations. قالت هوا تشون ينغ المتحدثة باسم وزارة الخارجية الصينية يوم الثلاثاء/3 ديسمبر إن المنظمات التي تدعم مثيري الشغب المناهضين للصين من أجل خلق الفوضى في هونغ كونغ، يجب أن تعاقب وأن تدفع الثمن.

أدلت هوا بهذه التصريحات في مؤتمر صحفي في معرض توضيحها لقرار الصين بفرض عقوبات على بعض المنظمات الأمريكية غير الحكومية التي تدعم الاضطرابات في هونغ كونغ.

وتشمل المنظمات الصندوق الوطني للديمقراطية والمعهد الديمقراطي الوطني للشؤون الدولية والمعهد الجمهوري الدولي ومنظمة هيومن رايتس ووتش وبيت الحرية.
