Despite built in haste, Leishenshan is well-equipped with ICU, negative pressure examination room, surgery rooms and CT rooms, and some of the finest medical devices to help treat patients.
The Leishenshan Hospital is the second of the two emergency specialty field hospitals built in Wuhan City of central China's Hubei Province to combat the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Builders began work on the Leishenshan Hospital on Jan 26, modeled on Beijing's Xiaotangshan Hospital, which was built to treat severe acute respiratory syndrome cases in Beijing in 2003.
