"After so many years of development of bilateral relations, interests of China and the United States have been highly integrated. To maintain sound development of China-U.S. relations is certainly in the interests of the two countries and the two peoples. We hope that the U.S. side can take into account the vital interests of the two peoples, and the U.S. side should say and do more things that are conducive to the development of bilateral relations and to the promotion of the well-being of both sides, not the reverse."
