Storyline


The combination of Shenzhou-12 manned spacecraft and the Long March 2F Yao-12 carrier rocket has been transferred to launch area at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China, the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) said on Wednesday.

All facilities at the launch site are in good condition, said the CMSA.

The subsequent pre-launch functional checks and joint tests will be carried out as planned, it said.

"Following their transfer to the launch area, we will mainly conduct the functional check of the spacecraft and rocket and test the matching between the two. After that, the astronauts will make on-site confirmation and then participate in the full-system launch drill," said Deng Xiaojun, No. 0 commander of Shenzhou-12 manned mission.
