Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday signed seven presidential decrees to promulgate six new laws and a decision, including the law on countering foreign sanctions.
The 84th presidential decree states that the Law of the People's Republic of China on Data Security adopted at the 29th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People’s Congress (NPC) of the People's Republic of China on June 10, 2021 is hereby promulgated and shall go into effect on September 1, 2021.
The 85th presidential decree states that the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Hainan Free Trade Port adopted at the 29th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th NPC of the People's Republic of China on June 10, 2021 is hereby promulgated and shall go into effect on the date of promulgation.
The 86th presidential decree states that the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of the Status, Rights, and Interests of Military Personnel adopted at the 29th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th NPC of the People's Republic of China on June 10, 2021 is hereby promulgated and shall go into effect on August 1, 2021.
The 87th presidential decree states that the Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Military Installations adopted at the 29th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th NPC of the People's Republic of China on June 10, 2021 is hereby promulgated and shall go into effect on August 1, 2021.
The 88th presidential decree states that Decision of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Amending Work Safety Law adopted at the 29th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th NPC of the People's Republic of China on June 10, 2021 is hereby promulgated and shall go into effect on September 1, 2021.
The 89th presidential decree states that the Law of the People's Republic of China on Stamp Duty adopted at the 29th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th NPC of the People's Republic of China on June 10, 2021 is hereby promulgated and shall go into effect on July 1, 2021.
The 90th presidential decree states that the Law of the People's Republic of China on Countering Foreign Sanctions adopted at the 29th session of the Standing Committee of the 13th NPC of the People's Republic of China on June 10, 2021 is hereby promulgated and shall go into effect on the date of promulgation.
