"One country's success does not have to mean another country's failure, and the world is big enough to accommodate common development and progress of all countries. We need to pursue dialogue and inclusiveness over confrontation and exclusion. We need to build a new type of international relations based on mutual respect, equity, justice and win-win cooperation, and do the best we can to expand the convergence of our interests and achieve the biggest synergy possible."

Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Tuesday that one country's success does not have to mean another country's failure, and the world is big enough to accommodate common development and progress of all countries.

Xi made the remarks in his statement delivered via video at the general debate of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

"We need to pursue dialogue and inclusiveness over confrontation and exclusion. We need to build a new type of international relations based on mutual respect, equity, justice and win-win cooperation, and do the best we can to expand the convergence of our interests and achieve the biggest synergy possible," he added.

Le président chinois Xi Jinping a déclaré mardi que le succès d'un pays ne signifie pas nécessairement l'échec d'un autre et que le monde est suffisamment grand pour accueillir le développement et le progrès communs de tous les pays.

Il a fait ces remarques dans une déclaration par liaison vidéo lors du débat général de la 76e session de l'Assemblée générale des Nations unies (AGNU).

"Nous devons poursuivre le dialogue et l'inclusion plutôt que la confrontation et l'exclusion. Xi hizo los comentarios en su declaración emitida por video en el debate general del 76° período de sesiones de la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas (UNGA, siglas en inglés).

Xi sagte dies in seiner Rede bei der Generaldebatte der 76. Tagung der Generalversammlung der Vereinten Nationen per Videolink.
