The Global Youth Conference kicked off in Ji'nan City of east China's Shandong Province on Friday, attracting over 5,000 representatives from 48 countries.

The conference initiated 10 achievements of cooperation programs, including the Global Youth Partnership and Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Youth Camp.

The conference is co-hosted by the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, All-China Youth Federation, China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and the Shandong provincial government.

The Yellow River Bay International Youth Economic Forum held at the conference focuses on the changing world economy and China's new development pattern under the pandemic.

In-depth discussions and exchanges were achieved on hot issues such as technological innovation, industrial transformation and upgrading, and business model transformation, so as to contribute to high-quality and sustainable development of the global economy.
