Storyline

The Russian Black Sea Fleet said Sunday that a drone carrying a small explosive device attacked its headquarters in Sevastopol and injured six navy staff members.

Sevastopol governor accused Ukraine of launching the drone attack. The Ukrainian side has not responded.

The high-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces hit a temporary deployment point of Kraken armed organization on the campus of the Morozov Mechanical Technical School in Kharkov, causing 350 casualties and destroying 11 sets of military equipment, according to a report released by the Russian Defense Ministry on Sunday.

In addition, a U.S.-made M777 howitzer was destroyed as part of a counter-battery warfare in Donetsk, the ministry said.

The Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said Sunday that the armed forces of Ukraine launched an attack on the occupiers near the villages of Verkhnii Tokmak and Chernihivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast on Friday night.

As a result, Russian armed forces withdrew their personnel and military equipment to other positions. Almost all Russian units have been withdrawn from Chernihivka.

Russia on Sunday launched massive shelling on the southern Ukrainian cities of Mykolaiv and Nikopol, causing casualties, according to Ukrainian officials.

The mayor of Mykolaiv said it was probably the strongest bombardment the city has witnessed since the conflict began.

The Odessa military administrative division said Sunday that two Iskander missiles launched from Crimea by the Russian armed forces hit a quarry in the region, according to reports of the Ukrainian National News Agency Ukrinform.

No casualties were reported after the missile attack.
