The China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) serves as a new platform for China to advance high-level opening up and a new carrier to promote the construction of an open world economy, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin at a press briefing on Wednesday.

Themed on "Connecting the World for a Shared Future," the expo opened in Beijing on Tuesday and will run till Saturday.

"The China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) is the world's first national-level exhibition themed on supply chain. It is also a new platform for China to advance high-level opening up and a new carrier to promote the construction of an open world economy. It has attracted 515 companies and institutions from home and abroad to participate.
