The investigation into Friday's terrorist attack on the concert hall in northwestern Moscow Oblast is underway amid domestic calls for harsher punishment against terrorist attacks, said a deputy of the State Duma.
Naumov Stanislav, the deputy of the State Duma, said that it will deliberate initiatives related to tougher punishment for such atrocities in an interview with China Global Television Network (CGTN) in Moscow on Monday.

The death toll from the attack has risen to 139 after gunmen stormed the Crocus City Hall in suburban Moscow, Alexander Bastrykin, the head of the Russian Investigative Committee, said Monday.
