The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) stands as a pivotal platform for global communication and exchange among nations in the current uncertainties and changes in the world, said Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, in an interview with China Media Group on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit is in south China's island province of Hainan attending the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2024. Themed on “Asia and the World: Common Challenges, Shared Responsibilities,” the event is scheduled for March 26 to 29 in the resort town of Boao in Hainan.
Roosevelt Skerrit emphasized the significance of continuous dialogs among nations and people worldwide, facilitated by platforms like the BFA, in addressing the ever-changing global challenges.
"Dialog is important. It's important for us to examine the issues because it's an evolving world. The issues we confront change almost every single day, so it's important for us to have those kinds of dialog, as world leaders, as community leaders, as local governments, and, of course, ordinary citizens," said Skerrit.
Skerrit said that the realization of China's vision of modernization not only benefits China but also the entire world.
