Russia claimed on Tuesday to have repelled Ukrainian attacks in multiple fronts, while Ukraine stated on the same day that it had hit a number of military targets of Russia.
On Tuesday, the Russian Defense Ministry issued a report stating that its army repelled attacks of the Ukrainian forces in multiple directions, including Kupyansk, Donetsk, and Avdiivka.
Its forces also hit base stations for electronic warfare, ammunition depots, drone factory, and other objectives of the Ukrainian side, said the report.
According to the ministry, Russian air defense forces shot down a number of Ukrainian drones in Belgorod and Kursk regions on Tuesday night.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces released a battle report on the same day, saying the Ukrainian army engaged in dozens of battles with the Russian military on the frontlines, targeting Russian anti-aircraft missile system, anti-tank weapons, multiple rocket launchers, and other objectives.
In an evening video address on Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Russian forces attacked Dnipropetrovsk region that day, resulting in 13 injuries.
