3. SOUNDBITE (Chinese) Wang Wenbin, spokesman, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (starting with shot 2):
"While the United States has introduced massive aid bills to Ukraine, it has also made groundless accusations against normal economic and trade exchanges between China and Russia. This act is extremely hypocritical and irresponsible. China is firmly opposed to that."

5. SOUNDBITE (Chinese) Wang Wenbin, spokesman, Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
"On the Ukrainian issue, China has taken an objective and just position, made active efforts to promote peace talks and worked for a political settlement. China has always controlled the export of dual-use items in accordance with laws and regulations. China is neither the one that created the Ukraine crisis nor a party to it. It has never added fuel to the fire, nor profited from the crisis, and will not accept the blame-shifting game. We must point out that China's right to have normal economic and trade exchanges with countries around the world, including Russia, on the basis of equality and mutual benefit should not be impeded or undermined. China's legitimate rights and interests brook no violation."

7. SOUNDBITE (Chinese) Wang Wenbin, spokesman, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (starting with shot 6):
"Fanning the flames, smearing others or shifting the blame is not the right way to resolve the Ukraine issue. We remind the U.S. that the only correct choice is to accommodate the legitimate concerns of all parties, and foster a balanced, effective and sustainable European security architecture through dialogue and negotiation."

China is firmly opposed to the United States' groundless accusations against normal economic and trade exchanges between China and Russia, Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at a routine press conference in Beijing on Tuesday.
Wang was requested to comment on media reports saying U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will tell Chinese officials that the U.S. and its allies are becoming increasingly impatient with China's refusal to stop providing Russia with everything from chips to cruise missile engines to help rebuild its industrial base during his visit to China this week.
