"We have gathered here, actually right here, a million times, a bunch of times, in the rain, in the snow and the sun, and we'll continue to do it. We will continue to gather. We will continue to bring people out for the liberation of Palestine, for the liberation of all oppressed peoples, and to say that we won't stand for the unjust political system in this country either."

Pro-Palestinian demonstrations have erupted on college campuses across the United States as the war in the Gaza Strip continues, with students calling for a permanent ceasefire and the stop of U.S. military aid to Israel.
Despite some U.S. politicians branding the demonstrators as "anti-Semitic" and hundreds of students being arrested, the anti-war protests continue to gain momentum.
Hundreds of demonstrators at Columbia University were arrested on April 18, and police arrested more than 100 demonstrators at New York University and Yale University four days later.
All classes at Columbia University have been online since April 22, after divisive demonstrations and debates surrounding the Israel-Palestine conflict heated up on campus, but demonstrators continue to protest on the university grounds.
