Chinese President Xi Jinping has called on the working people from all walks of life to strive for a brighter future and the Chinese dream of national rejuvenation with unremitting efforts and an untiring spirit.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, extended festive greetings and best wishes to the country's working people on Tuesday, ahead of International Workers' Day, which falls on May 1. He emphasized the significance of hard work and the contribution of the working people.

He himself has acquired a down-to-earth approach and tenacious fighting spirit during seven years as an "educated youth" working and living with farmers and herdsmen in the small village of Liangjiahe in northwest China's Shaanxi Province in the 1970s.

"I worked with them to cut grass in the cave dwellings on rainy or windy days, look after the cattle at night, and herd sheep, doing all kinds of work," Xi recalled his past days in Liangjiahe.

During his meeting with Chinese and overseas journalists in November 2012, after he was elected general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Xi showed his firm determination to create a happy life for the Chinese people.

"It is only hard work that creates all happiness in the world," he said.

Xi earnestly practices diligence that he advocates. He has set foot on all of the 14 contiguous areas of extreme poverty, joined tree-planting activities for 12 years in a row, and visited the working people during his every grass-roots inspection tour.

"We have to spend a lot of time to meet the ordinary people in China's rural areas and factories," he once said.

In February 2017, Xi paid a visit to Beijing's new airport, which is located in Daxing District in the southern part of the capital city, to inspect the relocation work and the construction site of the airport's main terminal.

"Socialism is built through hard work, relying on the working class and working people," he said.

With the concerted efforts of over 100,000 builders, the Beijing Daxing International Airport opened in September 2019 after 54 months of construction.

"The edifice of our Republic is constructed brick by brick. We have the confidence and the ambition to forge ahead. 'The strong pass of the enemy is like a wall of iron, yet with firm strides, we are conquering its summit'. China can do it! What is the foundation for it? It's you. The people are real heroes. Building socialism requires joint efforts," Xi said to the builders.

Xi stressed the development of vocational education and the spirit of craftsmanship when joining a Jiangsu delegation for deliberation at the second session of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC), China's national legislature, in March this year and responding positively to the words of Sun Jingnan, a welder from CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., a subsidiary of a major Chinese rolling stock manufacturer.

"Since the founding of the People's Republic of China [in 1949], the transportation sector has been advancing step by step, taking the lead internationally. Artisans play a crucial role in it," Xi said.

At conferences honoring workers, he called on the whole nation to take model workers as an example and create a future through hard work. In letters to workers, he praised the great working spirit and encouraged the most beautiful strivers in the new era. At the construction sites of mega projects, he injected confidence into builders to write miracles of struggle.

On Oct 23, 2018, Xi announced the opening of the 55-km Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, situated in the waters off Lingdingyang of the Pearl River Estuary. He praised the builders for breaking a number of world records, demonstrating the nation's spirit of striving to overcome any difficulties, the national strength, the innovative ability, and the aspiration to be the world's best.

At his 2024 New Year Address on New Year's Eve in 2023, Xi extended his greetings to people from all walks of life and commended their extraordinary contributions.

"All of you, from farmers in the fields to workers on factory floors, from entrepreneurs blazing the trail to service members guarding our country -- indeed, people from all walks of life -- have done your very best. Each and every ordinary Chinese has made an extraordinary contribution!" he said.

At a Spring Festival reception in Feb 2024, the Year of the Dragon, Xi encouraged all Chinese people to jointly write a new chapter in the cause of Chinese modernization with tenacity and perseverance.

"I hope that the people of the whole country will, inspired by the spirit of dragon, jointly write a new chapter in the cause of Chinese modernization in the coming year with pioneering efforts, endeavors and dedication," he said.

Le président chinois Xi Jinping a appelé les travailleurs de tous les milieux sociaux à lutter pour un avenir meilleur et pour réaliser le rêve chinois de renouveau national grâce à des efforts inlassables et un esprit infatigable.

M. Xi, également secrétaire général du Comité central du Parti communiste chinois (PCC) et président de la Commission militaire centrale, a adressé mardi des salutations festives et ses meilleurs vœux aux travailleurs du pays à l'occasion de la Journée internationale des travailleurs qui est célébrée le 1er mai. Il a souligné l'importance du travail acharné et de la contribution des travailleurs.

Il a lui-même acquis une approche terre-à-terre et un esprit combatif tenace pendant sept années. Durant cette période, il a travaillé et vécu avec des agriculteurs et des bergers dans le petit village de Liangjiahe, dans la province du Shaanxi, dans le nord-ouest de la Chine dans les années 1970.

"Je travaillais avec eux pour couper l'herbe dans les maisons-grottes quand il vente ou pleuve. Je me suis occupé du bétail la nuit et ai gardé les moutons, effectuant toutes sortes de travaux", a rappelé M. Xi ses jours passés à Liangjiahe.

Lors de sa rencontre avec des journalistes chinois et étrangers en novembre 2012 après avoir été élu secrétaire général du Comité central du PCC, M. Xi a montré sa ferme détermination à créer une vie heureuse pour le peuple chinois.

"C'est le travail acharné qui crée tout le bonheur dans le monde", a-t-il déclaré.

M. Xi pratique sérieusement la diligence qu’il préconise. Il s’est rendu dans les 14 zones d’extrême pauvreté, a participé à des activités de plantation d'arbres pendant 12 années consécutives et a rendu visite aux travailleurs lors de ses tournées d'inspection sur le terrain.

"Nous devons passer beaucoup de temps à rencontrer les gens ordinaires dans les zones rurales et les usines chinoises", a-t-il exprimé.

En février 2017, M. Xi a visité le nouvel aéroport de Beijing, situé dans le district de Daxing, dans le sud de la capitale, pour inspecter la relocalisation et le chantier de construction du terminal principal de l'aéroport.

"Le socialisme se construit grâce à un travail acharné et est basé sur la classe ouvrière et les travailleurs", a-t-il indiqué.

Grâce aux efforts concertés de plus de 100 000 constructeurs, l'aéroport international de Beijing-Daxing a été mis en service en septembre 2019 après 54 mois de construction.

"L’édifice de la République populaire de Chine est construit petit à petit. Nous sommes très confiants et avons cette ambition. Nous travaillons d’arrache-pied et avancerons pas à pas. J’ai confiance en la Chine. Quel en est le fondement ? C'est vous. Vous, le peuple chinois, êtes de vrais héros. Le socialisme est né des efforts assidus que vous fournissez", a dit M. Xi aux constructeurs.

M. Xi a souligné le développement de l'enseignement professionnel et l'esprit d'artisanat lorsqu'il s'est joint à une délégation de la province du Jiangsu pour la délibération lors de la deuxième session de la 14e Assemblée populaire nationale (APN), l'organe législatif national chinois, en mars de cette année. Il a réagi positivement aux paroles de Sun Jingnan, une soudeuse de CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., filiale d'un important fabricant chinois de matériel roulant.

"Depuis la fondation de la République populaire de Chine, le secteur des transports a fait des progrès réguliers, passant au premier plan sur la scène internationale. Les artisans y ont joué un rôle crucial", a exprimé M. Xi.

"Le secrétaire général a déclaré que 'les maîtres artisans constituent la pierre angulaire et le pilier de la nation chinoise'. Cette haute appréciation nous encourage fortement", a dit Mme Sun.

Le 23 octobre 2018, M. Xi a annoncé la mise en service du pont Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao de 55 km, situé dans les eaux au large de Lingdingyang, dans l'estuaire de la rivière des Perles. Il a félicité les constructeurs pour avoir battu un certain nombre de records du monde.

"Vous devez être fiers de vous-mêmes, et nous aussi, nous sommes fiers de vous. Notre pays a peiné dans son processus de construction et a connu d’innombrables vicissitudes. Mais, aucune difficulté ne nous a fléchis. Vous incarnez pleinement l’esprit de 'surmonter tous les obstacles'. Ce grand pont en est un parfait exemple. C’est de cette manière que nous construisons la cause du socialisme à la chinoise", a déclaré M. Xi.

Dans son discours du Nouvel An 2024, M. Xi a adressé ses salutations aux personnes de tous les milieux sociaux et a salué leurs contributions extraordinaires.

وقدّم شي، وهو أيضا الأمين العام للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي الصيني ورئيس اللجنة العسكرية المركزية، أطيب التهاني والأمنيات للفئة العاملة في البلاد قبيل عيد العمال الدولي الذي يوافق الأول من مايو.

واكتسب شي نفسه نهجا واقعيا وروحا كفاحية عنيدة خلال سبع سنوات من خبراته بالعيش والعمل كـ"شاب متعلم" مع المزارعين والرعاة في قرية ليانغجياخه بمقاطعة شنشي شمال غربي الصين في سبعينيات القرن العشرين.

واستذكر شي أيامه في ليانغجياخه قائلا: "عملتُ معهم في قطع العشب في مساكن الكهوف في الأيام الممطرة و العاصفة، رعيت المواشي في الليل، ورعيت معهم الأغنام. قمتُ بمختلف أنواع الأعمال."

وخلال لقائه مع الصحفيين الصينيين والأجانب في نوفمبر 2012 بعد انتخابه أمينا عاما للجنة المركزية للحزب الشيوعي الصيني، أظهر شي عزيمته الثابتة على خلق حياة سعيدة للشعب الصيني.

وذكر شي: "العمل الجاد وحده هو الذي يخلق كل السعادة في العالم."

ويمارس شي بجدية العمل الجاد الذي يدعو إليه. فقد وطأت قدماه جميع المناطق المتجاورة التي عانت من الفقر المدقع والبالغ عددها 14 منطقة، وانضمّ إلى أنشطة زراعة الأشجار لمدة 12 عاما متتالية، كما زار العاملين خلال كل جولة تفقدية قام بها.

وقال شي: "علينا أن نقضي أوقاتا كثيرة للقاء الناس العاديين في المناطق الريفية والمصانع بالصين."

في فبراير 2017، قام شي بزيارة إلى مطار بكين داشينغ الدولي، الذي يقع في حي داشينغ بالجزء الجنوبي من العاصمة بكين، للإطلاع على أعمال النقل وتفقّد موقع بناء المحطة الرئيسية للمطار.

وقال شي: "يتم بناء الاشتراكية من خلال العمل الجاد، والاعتماد على الطبقة العاملة والعاملين."

وبفضل الجهود المتضافرة لأكثر من 100 ألف عامل بناء، تم افتتاح مطار بكين داشينغ الدولي في سبتمبر 2019 بعد 54 شهرًا من البناء.

وذكر شي للبُناة: "إن صَرْح جمهوريتنا يتم بناؤهُ حجرا بحجر. لدينا الثقة والطموح للمضي قدمًا. ’الممر القوي للعدو مثل جدار من حديد، ولكن بخطوات ثابتة، يمكننا أن نتجاوز قمته‘. والصين قادرة على القيام بذلك. ما هو الأساس لذلك؟ هو أنتم! عامة الناس هم الأبطال الحقيقيون. وإن بناء الاشتراكية يتطلّب جهودا مشتركة."

وشدد شي على تطوير التعليم المهني وروح الحرفية عند انضمامه إلى وفد جيانغسو للمداولات خلال الدورة الثانية للمجلس الوطني الـ14 لنواب الشعب الصيني، الهيئة التشريعية الوطنية في الصين، في مارس من هذا العام. وردّ شي بشكل إيجابي على كلمة سون جينغ نان، عاملة لحام من شركة نانجينغ بوتشن التابعة لشركة "CRRC" المحدودة.

وقال شي: "منذ تأسيس جمهورية الصين الشعبية (في عام 1949)، كان قطاع النقل يتقدّم خطوة بخطوة ليتصدّر عالميا. ولعب الحرفيون دورًا حاسمًا في ذلك."

وإقتبست سون كلمة الأمين العام شي قائلاً: "إن كبار الحرفيين هم حجر الزاوية والركيزة التي يقوم عليها صَرْح الأمة الصينية". وقد أعطى شي الحرفيين تقديراً عاليا، وأنا أيضاً مشجعة ."

وفي مؤتمر لتكريم العاملين، دعا شي الأمة بأكملها إلى اتخاذ العمال النموذجيين كمثال، وصَنع المستقبل عبر العمل الجاد. وأشاد في رسائله إلى العاملين بروح العمل العظيمة وشجّع المناضلين في العصر الجديد. وفي مواقع بناء المشاريع الضخمة، ضخّ شي الثقة في قلوب البُناة لكتابة معجزات النضال.

في 23 أكتوبر 2018، أعلن شي افتتاح جسر هونغ كونغ-تشوهاي-ماكاو الذي يبلغ طوله 55 كيلومترا، ويقع على المياه قبالة لينغدينغيانغ عند مصب نهر اللؤلؤ. وأشاد بالبُناة الذين حطموا عددا من الأرقام القياسية العالمية، مما أظهر روح الأمة في السعي وراء التغلب على كل الصعوبات، وقوتها الوطنية، وقدرتها الابتكارية، والتطلع إلى أن تكون الأفضل في العالم.

وقال شي: "عليكم أن تفخروا بأنفسكم، ونحن فخورون بكم أيضًا. لقد تحملت البلاد صعوبات في عملها الرائد، وتغلبت على كل الصعوبات حتى وصلت إلى ما نحن عليه الآن. أنتم تجسدون بالكامل روح ’التغلب على كل العقبات‘. وبهذه الطريقة، تم تطوير الاشتراكية ذات الخصائص الصينية."

وفي كلمته عشية رأس السنة الجديدة 2024، تقدّم شي بتحياته للناس من جميع مناحي الحياة وأشاد بمساهماتهم غير العادية.

وقال شي: "إن جميع العاملين في مختلف الأوساط سواء كان الفلاحون الكادحون أو العمال المثابرون أو رواد الأعمال الشجعان أو الجنود المدافعون عن الوطن، الكل يتفانون في عملهم، وقد قدّم كل شخص عادي مساهمة غير عادية!"

وفي حفل استقبال عيد الربيع لهذا العام - عام التنين في فبراير الماضي، شجّع شي أبناء الشعب الصيني على كتابة فصل جديد بشكل مشترك في قضية التحديث صينيّ النمط بإصرار ومثابرة.

وقال شي: "آمل أنه في عام التنين، سيكتب شعب البلاد بأكمله، مستوحياً من روح التنين، فصلا جديدا في بناء التحديث الصينيّ النمط بجهود ومساع رائدة وتفان."

Председатель КНР Си Цзиньпин призвал трудящихся всех слоев общества неустанными усилиями стремиться к светлому будущему и осуществлению мечты о великом возрождении китайской нации.

Китайский лидер 30 апреля, в преддверии Международного дня трудящихся, который отмечается 1 мая, поздравил и выразил наилучшие пожелания трудящимся страны, подчеркнув большое значение упорного труда и вклад трудящихся.

Сам Си Цзиньпин, являющийся также генеральным секретарем ЦК КПК и председателем Центрального военного совета, приобрел практичный подход и стойкий боевой дух за семь лет, когда "образованный молодой человек" работал и жил с фермерами и пастухами в маленькой деревне Лянцзяхэ в провинции Шэньси на северо-западе Китая в 1970-х годах.

"Я вместе с ними косил траву в пещерных жилищах даже в дождливые и ветреные дни, ухаживал за скотом по ночам и пас овец, выполняя самую разную работу", – вспоминал он о своих прошлых днях в Лянцзяхэ.

На встрече с китайскими и зарубежными журналистами в ноябре 2012 года, после того как он был избран генеральным секретарем ЦК КПК, Си Цзиньпин продемонстрировал свою твердую решимость создать счастливую жизнь для китайского народа.

"Счастья на свете добьется только упорным трудом", – сказал он.

Си Цзиньпин искренне практикует усердие, за которое он ратует. Он побывал во всех 14 прилегающих районах крайней бедности, участвовал в деятельности по посадке деревьев 12 лет подряд и посещал трудящихся в ходе каждой своей инспекционной поездки.

Глава КНР подчеркнул важность развития профессионального образования и духа мастеровитости во время участия в панельной дискуссии депутатов от провинции Цзянсу в рамках проходящей 2-й сессии Всекитайского собрания народных представителей (ВСНП) 14-го созыва в марте этого года. Он положительно оценил слова депутата ВСНП от провинции Цзянсу Сунь Цзиннань, которая работает электросварщиком из CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co, дочерней компании крупного китайского производителя подвижного состава.

На стройках мегапроектов он вселял в строителей уверенность в том, что они смогут творить чудеса борьбы.

23 октября 2018 года Си Цзиньпин объявил об открытии 55-километрового моста Сянган-Чжухай-Аомэнь. Он похвалил строителей за то, что они побили ряд мировых рекордов, продемонстрировав дух нации, стремление преодолевать любые трудности, национальную силу, инновационные способности и стремление быть лучшими в мире.

"Все вы, от фермеров на полях до рабочих на заводах, от предпринимателей, прокладывающих путь, до военнослужащих, охраняющих нашу страну, – действительно, люди из всех слоев общества сделали все возможное. Каждый обычный китаец внес выдающийся вклад! ", – сказал он.

На приеме в честь праздника Весны в феврале 2024 года, в год Дракона, глава государства призвал весь китайский народ совместно вписать новую главу в дело модернизации в китайском стиле.

"Надеюсь, что в год Дракона народ всей страны сможет с бодростью и настойчивостью дракона вписать новую главу в модернизацию в китайском стиле", – сказал Си Цзиньпин.

El presidente chino, Xi Jinping, ha pedido a los trabajadores de todos los ámbitos sociales que luchen por un futuro mejor y por el sueño chino de la revitalización nacional con esfuerzos incansables y un espíritu tenaz.

Xi, también secretario general del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de China (PCCh) y presidente de la Comisión Militar Central, extendió el martes saludos festivos y los mejores deseos a los trabajadores del país, en vísperas del Día Internacional de los Trabajadores, que se celebra el 1 de mayo. Destacó la importancia del trabajo duro y la contribución de los trabajadores.

Él mismo adquirió un enfoque realista y un espíritu de lucha tenaz durante siete años como "joven instruido" que trabajó y vivió con agricultores y pastores en la pequeña aldea Liangjiahe, en la provincia de Shaanxi, en el noroeste de China, en los años 1970.

"Trabajé con ellos cortando el pasto en las casas cueva en los días de lluvia o viento, cuidando del ganado por la noche y pastoreando ovejas, haciendo todo tipo de trabajos", recordó Xi sus días pasados en Liangjiahe.

Durante su reunión con periodistas chinos y extranjeros en noviembre de 2012, tras ser elegido secretario general del Comité Central del PCCh, Xi mostró su firme determinación de que el pueblo chino alcance una vida feliz.

"Sólo el trabajo duro crea toda la felicidad del mundo", afirmó.

Xi practica seriamente la diligencia que propugna. Ha visitado y dejado su huella en las 14 zonas contiguas de extrema pobreza; se ha unido a las actividades de plantación de árboles durante 12 años consecutivos; y ha visitado a los trabajadores en cada gira de inspección de las bases.

"Tenemos que dedicar mucho tiempo a conocer a la gente corriente de las zonas rurales y de las fábricas de China", apuntó una vez.

En febrero de 2017, Xi visitó el nuevo aeropuerto de Beijing, ubicado en el distrito de Daxing, en la parte sur de la ciudad capital, para inspeccionar los trabajos de reubicación y el sitio de construcción de la terminal principal del aeropuerto.

"El socialismo se construye a través del trabajo duro, apoyándose en la clase obrera y los trabajadores", dijo.

Con los esfuerzos concertados de más de 100.000 constructores, el Aeropuerto Internacional Daxing de Beijing abrió sus puertas en septiembre de 2019 después de 54 meses de construcción.

Xi destacó el desarrollo de la educación vocacional y el espíritu artesanal cuando se unió a una delegación de Jiangsu para deliberar en la segunda sesión de la XIV Asamblea Popular Nacional (APN), la legislatura nacional de China, en marzo de este año y respondió positivamente a las palabras de Sun Jingnan, una soldadora de CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co., filial de un importante fabricante chino de material rodante.

En conferencias en honor a los trabajadores, llamó a toda la nación a tomar como ejemplo a los trabajadores modelo y crear un futuro a través del trabajo duro. En cartas a los trabajadores, elogió el gran espíritu de trabajo y alentó a los luchadores más bellos de la nueva era. En las obras de megaproyectos, dio confianza a los constructores, animándolos a escribir milagros de lucha.

El 23 de octubre de 2018, Xi anunció la apertura del puente Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao, de 55 kilómetros de longitud, situado sobre las aguas de Lingdingyang del estuario del río Perla. Elogió a los constructores por batir varios récords mundiales, lo que demuestra el espíritu de la nación de esforzarse por superar cualquier dificultad, la fuerza nacional, la capacidad innovadora y la aspiración de ser los mejores del mundo.

Der chinesische Staatspräsident Xi Jinping hat die Werktätigen aller Gesellschaftsschichten dazu aufgerufen, sich mit unermüdlichem Engagement und unermüdlichem Geist für eine bessere Zukunft und das Wiederaufleben der chinesischen Nation einzusetzen.

Xi, auch Generalsekretär des Zentralkomitees der Kommunistischen Partei Chinas (KPCh) und Vorsitzender der Zentralen Militärkommission, übermittelte den Werktätigen des Landes am Dienstag vor dem Internationalen Tag der Arbeit, der am 1. Mai begangen wird, feierliche Grüße und beste Wünsche. Er betonte die Bedeutung von harter Arbeit und den Beitrag der Werktätigen.

Er selbst hat sich eine bodenständige Einstellung und einen zähen Kampfgeist angeeignet, als er in den 1970er Jahren sieben Jahre lang als „gebildeter Jugendlicher“ in dem kleinen Dorf Liangjiahe in der nordwestchinesischen Provinz Shaanxi mit Bauern und Hirten arbeitete und lebte.

„Ich habe mit ihnen zusammengearbeitet, um an regnerischen oder windigen Tagen Stroh in Höhlenhäusern mundgerecht zu schneiden, nachts das Vieh mit zu hüten, Schafe zu weiden und alle möglichen Arbeiten zu verrichten“, erinnerte sich Xi an seine vergangenen Tage in Liangjiahe.

Während seines Treffens mit chinesischen und ausländischen Journalisten im November 2012, nachdem er zum Generalsekretär des Zentralkomitees der KPC gewählt worden war, zeigte Xi seine feste Entschlossenheit, ein glückliches Leben für das chinesische Volk zu schaffen.

„Nur durch harte Arbeit ist es in der Welt möglich, Glück zu schaffen“, sagte er.

Xi praktiziert ernsthaft den von ihm befürworteten Arbeitseifer. Er hat 14 Gebiete mit häufiger Armut inspiziert, 12 Jahre in Folge an Aufforstungsaktionen teilgenommen und bei jeder Inspektionsreise an der Basis Werktätige besucht.

„Wir müssen uns viel Zeit nehmen, um die einfachen Leute in Chinas ländlichen Gebieten und Fabriken zu treffen“, sagte er einmal.

Im Februar 2017 besuchte Xi den neuen Flughafen im südlichen Fernbezirk Daxing von Beijing, um die Baustelle des neuen Flughafens anzusehen.

„Der Sozialismus wird durch harte Arbeit aufgebaut und stützt sich auf uns Arbeiterklasse und Werktätigen“, sagte er.

Dank der gemeinsamen Anstrengungen von mehr als 100.000 Bauarbeitern konnte der Internationale Flughafen Beijing-Daxing im September 2019 nach 54 Monaten Bauzeit eröffnet werden.

Xi betonte die Förderung der Berufsausbildung und des Handwerkergeists, als er im März dieses Jahres mit einer Delegation aus Jiangsu an der zweiten Tagung des 14. Nationalen Volkskongresses (NVK), Chinas nationalem Gesetzgeber, teilnahm und sich an die Worte von Sun Jingnan anschloss, einem Schweißer von CRRC Nanjing Puzhen, der Tochtergesellschaft eines großen chinesischen Schienenfahrzeugherstellers.

Auf Preisverleihungen an Werktätige rief er mehrmals die ganze Nation dazu auf, dem Vorbild der Musterarbeiter zu folgen und durch harte Arbeit eine vielversprechende Zukunft zu schaffen. In Briefen an die Arbeiter lobte er den großen Arbeitsgeist und ermutigte die emsig Arbeitenden der neuen Ära. Auf den Baustellen von Megaprojekten machte er den Bauarbeitern Mut, durch Fleiß für mehr Wunder zu sorgen.

Am 23. Oktober 2018 kündigte Xi die Eröffnung der 55 Kilometer langen Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macau-Brücke an, die in den Gewässern vor Lingdingyang im Mündungsgebiet des Perlflusses emporragt. Er lobte die Bauarbeiter dafür, dass sie eine Reihe von Weltrekorden gebrochen hätten und damit den nationalen Geist, Schwierigkeiten zu trotzen, die nationale Stärke, die Kreativität und das Streben nach der Weltspitze unter Beweis gestellt hätten.

In seiner Neujahrsansprache 2024 richtete Xi seine Grüße an Menschen aus allen Gesellschaftsschichten und würdigte ihre außergewöhnlichen Beiträge.

„Sie alle, von den fleißigen Bauern bis zu den hart kämpfenden Arbeitern, von den Existenzgründern bis zu den Soldaten, die unser Land beschützen – also Menschen aller Branchen und Gewerbe - haben ihr Bestes gegeben. Jeder einfache Chinese hat einen außerordentlichen Beitrag geleistet", sagte er.

Bei einem Empfang zum Frühlingsfest des Jahres des Drachen im Februar 2024 ermutigte Xi alle Chinesen, mit Beharrlichkeit und Ausdauer gemeinsam ein neues Kapitel der chinesischen Modernisierung aufzuschlagen.
