Two 4K/8K B6 ultra-high-definition broadcast vehicles of China Media Group (CMG) started their journey to Paris from Beijing on Friday, unrolling their mission of providing broadcasting service of the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games.
The vehicles are the first batch of broadcast vehicles of CMG for producing 8K public signal abroad for the Olympic games.
Both the vehicles are 17 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, big enough to encompass 34 office cubicles distributed in five work areas. At their maximum capacity, each of them is capable of processing 60 signal sources.
As planned, the broadcast vehicles will run all the way for three days from Beijing to Zhoushan Port in east China's Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, where their maritime journey starts. They will pass the Cape of Good Hope during their sea travel before they arrive in Paris around late July.
