Russia said on Tuesday that its forces had downed more than 100 Ukrainian drones, while Ukraine said on the same day that it had launched attacks on multiple Russian energy facilities.
The Russian Defense Ministry said in a daily briefing that its air defense systems shot down more than 100 drones in Russia's Kursk region between Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
The Ukrainian drone attacks in Kursk region killed one person and injured nine others, and also damaged several buildings, said local officials.
The ministry also said that the Russian forces continued their advances on multiple fronts, targeting Ukrainian armored vehicles, self-propelled artillery, and other targets.
Ukrainian forces launched multiple attacks on infrastructure and energy facilities in Russia's Bryansk, Kursk, and other regions, cutting off power and gas supplies to local residents, the ministry added.
Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that dozens of battles had taken place along the front lines as of Tuesday afternoon, and that Ukrainian forces were making every effort to prevent Russian advances.
In addition, the Ukrainian military attacked the permanent base of Russia's 448th Missile Brigade, which is reportedly linked to the Russian missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Sumy on Sunday, the Ukrainian side said.
