The Communist Party of China (CPC) in Dialogue with Political Parties of Neighboring Countries was held in Beijing on Monday, gathering more than 200 party leaders and think tank scholars from over 20 countries.
Themed "Building a Community with a Shared Future with Neighboring Countries: Political Parties in Action," the event focused on issues such as exchanges between neighbor countries and mutual learning between civilizations, strengthening strategic mutual trust through dialogue and negotiations, and high-level opening-up and Asia's integrated development.
The guests at the event said that the dialogue meets the needs of all sides in amplifying the voice of the region and drawing a blueprint for cooperation between neighbor countries.
They said that security, development, civilization and mutual trust are all indispensable for building a community with a shared future.
Against the backdrop of rising unilateralism and protectionism in today's world, China's enhanced cooperation with its neighboring countries will help the Global South to jointly address challenges and achieve better development, they said.
