A large number of pro-government Iranians gathered in downtown Tehran on Saturday night to celebrate for Iran's immediate reaction to Israeli airstrikes.

The crowds, waving flags, flooded streets after Iran launched missiles in retaliation for Israel's deadly airstrikes conducted early Friday which targeted Tehran and several other cities.

One day after the Israeli airstrikes, Tehran has seen no rush to store up food or water, nor has there been a need for any emergency shelters.

The attacks resulted in the deaths of multiple senior military commanders, nuclear scientists, and dozens of civilians in Iran. Yet, many residents remained largely unfazed.

"We are not really scared. We are more worried for our children. We belong to a generation of war. We are not scared of such incidents," said Majid, a Tehran resident.

In response to Israeli airstrikes, Iran fired a barrage of missiles towards wide areas of northern Israel on Saturday. While intercepting the incoming missiles, the Israeli air force continued to conduct strikes on military targets in Tehran, according to Israel Defense Forces.

Un grand nombre d'Iraniens pro-gouvernementaux se sont rassemblés samedi soir dans le centre-ville de Téhéran pour célébrer la réaction immédiate de l'Iran aux frappes aériennes israéliennes.

La foule, agitant des drapeaux, a inondé les rues après que l'Iran a lancé des missiles en représailles aux frappes aériennes meurtrières d'Israël menées tôt vendredi qui ont visé Téhéran et plusieurs autres villes.

Un jour après les frappes aériennes israéliennes, Téhéran n’a constaté aucune précipitation pour stocker de la nourriture ou de l’eau, ni aucun besoin d’abris d’urgence.

Les attaques ont causé la mort de plusieurs hauts commandants militaires, de scientifiques nucléaires et de dizaines de civils en Iran. Pourtant, de nombreux habitants sont restés largement imperturbables.

"Nous n'avons vraiment pas peur. Nous sommes surtout inquiets pour nos enfants. Nous appartenons à une génération de guerre", fait savoir un résident à Téhéran.

تجمع عدد كبير من الإيرانيين المؤيدين للحكومة في وسط العاصمة طهران مساء السبت/ 14 يونيو الجاري للتعبير عن دعمهم لرد الفعل الإيراني الفوري على الغارات الجوية الإسرائيلية.

وتدفقت الحشود، حاملة الأعلام، إلى الشوارع بعد أن أطلقت إيران صواريخ ردا على الغارات الجوية الإسرائيلية المميتة التي نفذتها في وقت مبكر من يوم الجمعة واستهدفت طهران والعديد من المدن الأخرى.

وبعد يوم واحد من الغارات الجوية الإسرائيلية، لم تشهد طهران أي اندفاع لتخزين الغذاء أو المياه، ولم تكن هناك حاجة إلى أي ملاجئ طارئة.

وأسفرت الهجمات عن مقتل العديد من كبار القادة العسكريين وعلماء نوويين وعشرات المدنيين في إيران. ومع ذلك، ظل العديد من السكان غير منزعجين إلى حد كبير.

وقال مجيد، الساكن في طهران: "لسنا خائفين حقًا، بل نحن قلقون أكثر على أطفالنا. ننتمي إلى جيل الحرب، ولا نخشى مثل هذه الحوادث."

وردًا على الغارات الجوية الإسرائيلية، أطلقت إيران وابلًا من الصواريخ باتجاه مناطق واسعة في شمال إسرائيل يوم السبت. وبينما اعترضت القوات الجوية الإسرائيلية الصواريخ القادمة، واصلت شن غارات على أهداف عسكرية في طهران، وفقًا للجيش الإسرائيلي.
