Astana, Kazakhstan's capital, is poised to host the second China-Central Asia Summit and welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping and other distinguished guests.

Located in northern Kazakhstan, Astana is one of the world's youngest capital cities, serving as the nation's primary industrial and agricultural production base, a railway transportation hub, and the country's second-largest financial center.

The transforming of Astana from a small town into a thriving modern city mirrors Kazakhstan's remarkable development.

At the invitation of President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Xi will attend the second China-Central Asia Summit in Astana from June 16 to 18.

During the summit, Xi and leaders from the five Central Asian countries will work together to chart a new blueprint for China-Central Asia cooperation, creating new opportunities for regional peace and development, injecting certainty into a world of turbulence and changes, and forging to a brighter future for the advancement of human civilization.
