Chinese embassies in Azerbaijan and Iran have been organizing and coordinating the evacuation of Chinese citizens from Iran to safety as Israeli attacks on Iran continue.

More than 300 Chinese nationals left Iran via the land border with Azerbaijan, said Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lu Mei on Wednesday.

"Among those who left Iran are personnel from Chinese-funded institutions, students, and workers in Iran. They also include residents from China's Hong Kong, as well as infants aged 10 months and toddlers aged 2, all of whom have been well accommodated," said the ambassador.

Lu welcomed the first group of arrivals in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku on Tuesday night, conveying concern for their welfare from the Chinese government and reassuring them to feel safe and at ease.

She said the embassy had arranged bus transport from the border for the Chinese citizens and will assist with their accommodation and onward travel from Baku back home.

Lu also expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani government for their strong support and cooperation in facilitating the departure of the Chinese nationals.

The Chinese embassy in Iran has deployed staff to the Bajgiran border crossing between Iran and Turkmenistan to assist with departure procedures for Chinese citizens seeking to leave Iran there.

"The embassy staff are assisting with visa processing, so I feel at ease. I trust the embassy to handle everything well. We will patiently await their arrangements as we trust the government and the embassy," said a Chinese national surnamed Huangpu.

The Chinese foreign ministry said on Wednesday that the ministry and the Chinese embassy and consulate in Iran organized and coordinated the evacuation of 791 Chinese citizens and was coordinating with over 1,000 more currently seeking to leave. And Chinese embassies and consulates in neighboring countries, including Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, have sent working groups to border entry and exit points to assist Chinese nationals in passing through the border and traveling back home.

كما نشرت السفارة الصينية في إيران موظفين إلى معبر باجغيران الحدودي بين إيران وتركمانستان للمساعدة في إجراءات مغادرة المواطنين الصينيين الراغبين في مغادرة إيران عبر هذا المعبر.

وصرّحت وزارة الخارجية الصينية، يوم الأربعاء، أن الوزارة والسفارة الصينية والقنصلية الصينية في إيران نظمت ونسقت عملية إجلاء لـ791 مواطنًا صينيًا، وتقوم حاليًا بالتنسيق مع أكثر من 1000 آخرين يسعون للمغادرة. كما أرسلت السفارات والقنصليات الصينية في الدول المجاورة، من بينها أذربيجان وتركمانستان، مجموعات عمل إلى نقاط الدخول والخروج الحدودية لمساعدة المواطنين في عبور الحدود والعودة إلى الوطن.

Las embajadas chinas en Azerbaiyán e Irán han estado organizando y coordinando la evacuación de ciudadanos chinos de Irán a un lugar seguro mientras continúan los ataques israelíes contra la nación persa.

Más de 300 ciudadanos chinos abandonaron Irán a través de la frontera terrestre con Azerbaiyán, declaró el miércoles la embajadora china en Azerbaiyán, Lu Mei.

"Entre quienes salieron de Irán se encuentran personal de instituciones financiadas por China, estudiantes y trabajadores en la nación persa. También se incluyen compatriotas de Hong Kong de China, así como bebés de 10 meses y niños pequeños de dos años, todos ellos se encuentran bien alojados", detalló la embajadora.

Lu dio la bienvenida al primer grupo de recién llegados a Bakú, la capital de Azerbaiyán, el martes por la noche. Transmitió a los recién llegados la preocupación del Gobierno chino por su bienestar y les aseguró que garantizarán su seguridad y todas las comodidades.

Tras haber dispuesto el transporte en autobús de los evacuados chinos desde la frontera, Lu añadió que la embajada también les ayudará en todo lo referente al alojamiento temporal en Bakú y su posterior viaje de regreso a casa.

Lu quiso aprovechar la oportunidad para agradecer al Gobierno azerbaiyano por su firme apoyo y cooperación en facilitar la salida de los ciudadanos chinos.

La Embajada china en Irán ha mandado a diplomáticos al cruce fronterizo de Bajgiran, entre Irán y Turkmenistán, ayudando en los trámites de salida de los ciudadanos chinos que deseen abandonar Irán desde allí.

"El personal de la embajada china me está ayudando con la tramitación de la visa, así que me siento tranquila. Confío en que la embajada gestionará todo bien. Esperamos con paciencia sus arreglos y avisos. Confiamos en el Gobierno y en la Embajada de China", manifestó una ciudadana china de apellido Huangpu.

El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de China, junto con la Embajada y el Consulado chinos en Irán, organizó la evacuación de 791 ciudadanos chinos y está coordinando la salida de otros 1.000. Asimismo, las embajadas y consulados chinos en países vecinos, como Azerbaiyán y Turkmenistán, han enviado grupos de trabajo a los puntos fronterizos de entrada y salida para ayudar a los ciudadanos chinos a cruzar la frontera y regresar a su país.
