"China has clearly stated its stance. Attacking nuclear facilities under the safeguards of the International Atomic Energy Agency is a serious violation of the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and international law. China urges the parties to the conflict to avoid a spiral of escalation, resolutely prevent the war from spilling over, and return to the track of political settlement. China is willing to strengthen communication and coordination with all parties, pool efforts, uphold justice, and play a constructive role in restoring peace in the Middle East."

The U.S. attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities seriously violated the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and international law, said Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun on Monday.
On Saturday, the United States launched attacks on three Iranian nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
Asked to comment on the situation, Guo condemned the U.S. move and urged all parties involved to de-escalate tensions.
