"The U.S.' attack on Iran's nuclear facilities has seriously violated the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and exacerbated tensions in the Middle East. The Security Council cannot do nothing about this. China, Russia and Pakistan proposed a draft resolution in the Security Council, calling for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, the protection of civilians, compliance with international law, and dialogue and negotiation. The move raises voices for justice and reflects the strong aspiration of the international community. We expect the members of the Security Council to jointly support the draft resolution and promote the Security Council to play a practical role in maintaining international peace and security."
