Russia on Monday struck Ukraine's fuel supply facilities, while Ukraine, on the same day, said massive Russian troops were amassing in the Pokrovsk direction.

The Russian Ministry of Defense said that its troops attacked the Ukrainian Navy's fuel supply facilities, production, assembly and storage sites for attack drones, and ammunition depots in the past 24 hours.

The Russian air defense system also shot down 144 Ukrainian drones, the ministry said.

Also on Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that a large group of Russian troops were amassing in the Pokrovsk direction, and the region had witnessed multiple attacks, with fierce fighting still raging on.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on the same day that the Ukrainian army had continued to conduct defensive operations in the direction of Slobozhanske in eastern Ukraine and successfully repelled multiple Russian assaults on the border of Sumy Oblast in northeastern Ukraine.
