The combination of the Tianzhou-9 cargo spacecraft and a Long March-7 Y10 carrier rocket was vertically transferred to the launching area at the Wenchang Space Launch Site on Saturday, marking a key step ahead of its upcoming scheduled launch.

The cargo spacecraft will be launched at an appropriate time from the launch site in China's southern island province of Hainan in the coming days, according to the China Manned Space Agency.

The Wenchang Space Launch Site is located on the coast of the South China Sea, where July is typically hot and rainy. The Long March-7 carrier rocket, responsible for launching the cargo spacecraft, boasts a mature and highly reliable technology capable of withstanding complex weather conditions, according to the aerospace technicians.

"In terms of technical readiness, our rocket is not afraid of hot weather or moderate rainfall. As for the cargo spacecraft, it remains enclosed in the payload fairing. During transfer and after arrival at the pad, air-conditioning systems maintain a stable temperature and humidity environment to ensure the spacecraft stays in optimal condition," said Wang Xi, a technician with the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

The Tianzhou-9 will carry approximately 6.5 tonnes of supplies into orbit, including life-support materials for the Shenzhou-20 and Shenzhou-21 astronaut crews, two new sets of Feitian extravehicular spacesuits, a core muscle exercise device, and scientific payloads related to space medicine and other experimental fields.

"Once the combination reaches the launch tower, connections for gas, liquid, and electrical systems between the rocket and ground support equipment are restored. Then, we conduct essential tests. Tomorrow (On Sunday), we will perform a tank replacement for the propellant system and pressurize the necessary gas cylinders as part of the pre-launch preparations. Once the launch sequence begins, we'll proceed with fueling and carry out the remaining launch operations," said Wang.

Ground facilities are in good condition, and final pre-launch checks and joint tests will proceed as planned, following the vertical transfer, according to the China Manned Space Agency.

La combinaison du vaisseau spatial cargo Tianzhou-9 et d'une fusée porteuse Longue Marche-7 Y10 a été transférée verticalement vers la zone de lancement du site de lancement spatial de Wenchang samedi, marquant une étape clé avant son prochain lancement prévu.

Le vaisseau spatial cargo sera lancé au moment opportun,dans les prochains jours, depuis le site de lancement de la province insulaire de Hainan, dans le sud de la Chine, selon l'Agence chinoise des vols spatiaux habités (CMSA).

Le site de lancement spatial de Wenchang est situé sur la côte de la mer de Chine méridionale, où le mois de juillet est généralement chaud et pluvieux. La fusée porteuse Longue Marche-7, chargée du lancement du vaisseau cargo, est extrêmement fiable avec une technologie mature, capable de résister à des conditions météorologiques complexes, selon les techniciens aérospatiaux.

Le Tianzhou-9 enverra environ 6,5 tonnes de fournitures à la station spatiale chinoise Tiangong, notamment du matériel de survie pour les astronautes de Shenzhou-20, actuellement en orbite, et ceux de la future mission Shenzhou-21, deux nouveaux ensembles de combinaisons spatiales extravéhiculaires Feitian, un appareil d'exercice musculaire central et des charges utiles scientifiques liées à la médecine spatiale et à d'autres domaines expérimentaux.

نُقلت مجموعة مركبة الشحن الفضائية "تيانتشو-9 "والصاروخ الحامل من طراز لونغ مارش-7 واي 10عموديًا إلى منطقة الإطلاق في موقع ونتشانغ لإطلاق المركبات الفضائية يوم السبت/12 يوليو الجاري، مما يمثل خطوة مهمة قبل موعد الإطلاق المقرر.

ووفقًا لوكالة الفضاء المأهول الصينية، سيتم إطلاق مركبة الشحن الفضائية في الوقت المناسب من موقع الإطلاق في مقاطعة هاينان بجنوبي الصين، خلال الأيام المقبلة.

ويقع موقع الإطلاق على ساحل بحر الصين الجنوبي، حيث يكون شهر يوليو عادة حارا وممطرا. ويتميز الصاروخ الحامل من طراز لونغ مارش-7، المسؤول عن إطلاق مركبة الشحن الفضائية، بتقنية متطورة وموثوقة للغاية قادرة على تحمل الظروف الجوية المعقدة، وفقًا لفنيي الفضاء.

وقال وانغ شي، الفني في شركة علوم وتكنولوجيا الفضاء الصينية: "من حيث الجاهزية التقنية، لا يخشى صاروخنا الطقس الحار أو هطول الأمطار المعتدلة. أما مركبة الشحن، فتظل محصورة داخل غطاء الحمولة. أثناء النقل وبعد الوصول إلى منصة الإطلاق، تحافظ أنظمة تكييف الهواء على درجة حرارة ورطوبة ثابتة لضمان بقاء المركبة الفضائية في حالة مثالية."
