2. Various of tourists at peak of mountain, sunrise
Zhongyang County, Lyuliang City, Shanxi Province, north China - Recent (CCTV - No access Chinese mainland)
3. Aerial shots of clouds, cattle, grass
Breathtaking sceneries featuring a sea of clouds in east China's Shandong and north China's Shanxi have amazed tourists from across the country over recent days.
Located in Tai'an City of Shandong Province, Mount Tai, one of China's Five Sacred Mountains, has witnessed sun rising from a sea of clouds for days in a row recently.
It seems like a fairyland when the rising sun gradually dyes the sky into scarlet, with golden rays gloriously breaking through the sea of clouds, and with mountains in distance faintly looming in and out of the mist.
With its natural and cultural values well integrated, Mount Tai was listed as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage site by UNESCO in 1987, the first ever in China.
At Mount Shangding in Zhongyang County of Shanxi Province, cotton candy-like clouds slowly rolled in from the edge of the mountain peak, fluffy and white, creating a charming contrast with the dark blue mountains following a summer rain.
Lush greenery wrapping the mountains is dotted by heads of cattle leisurely grazing on the tender grass in small groups, forming a picturesque scene from a fairy tale.
