The World Robot Conference (WRC) opened in Beijing on Friday, with more than 100 cutting-edge robotics products making their debuts, nearly twice as many as last year.

Running from Friday to Tuesday in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, also known as Beijing E-Town, the 2025 edition of the conference is held under the theme "Making Robots Smarter, Making Embodied Agents More Intelligent".

The 2025 WRC will feature forums, exhibitions, competitions and networking events, with about 200 leading robotics companies from around the world presenting over 1,500 exhibits.

More than 400 guests, including domestic and international scientists, top experts, representatives from international organizations, and entrepreneurs will attend the main forum and over 20 thematic forums to discuss technology and industry trends, technology applications, and innovations in the field of robotics.

A key feature will be the debut of cutting-edge products, ranging from agile quadruped robots, rescue robots, and inspection robots to novel catheter-shaping robots and robotic lawn mowers, offering attendees a glimpse into the future of intelligent machines.

Humanoid robots remain a major attraction of the conference, with 50 manufacturers of full-body humanoid robots showcasing their latest innovations.

More than 31 side events will be held during the conference to strengthen international cooperation, expand real-world applications including standard testing, accelerate technological breakthrough, and promote industrial talent cultivation.

In 2024, China accounted for two-thirds of global robot patent applications and produced 556,000 industrial robots, remaining the world's top manufacturer.

La Conférence mondiale sur la robotique (World Robot Conference - WRC) s'est ouverte vendredi à Beijing. Plus de 100 produits robotiques de pointe ont fait leurs débuts, soit près de deux fois plus que l'année dernière.

L'édition 2025 de la WRC se déroule du 8 au 11 août dans la zone de développement économique et technologique de Beijing, également connue sous le nom de Beijing E-Town, sous le thème "Rendre les robots plus intelligents, améliorer l'intelligence des agents incarnés".

La WRC 2025 propose des forums, des expositions, des compétitions et des événements de réseautage, avec environ 200 entreprises de robotique internationales de premier plan présentant plus de 1 500 expositions.

В Пекине сегодня, 8 августа, открылась Всемирная конференция по робототехнике (WRC), на которой было представлено более 100 передовых продуктов в области робототехники, что почти в два раза больше, чем в прошлом году.

Конференция проходит с 8 по 12 августа в Пекинской зоне технико-экономического развития, также известной как Beijing E-Town, под темой "Делая роботов умнее, делая воплощенных агентов более интеллектуальными". На ней будет представлено свыше 1500 экспонатов от более чем 200 ведущих компаний в сфере робототехники со всего мира.

Более 400 гостей, включая китайских и зарубежных ученых, ведущих экспертов, представителей международных организаций и предпринимателей, примут участие в основном форуме и более чем 20 сессиях, посвященных технологическим и отраслевым трендам, практическому применению технологий и инновациям в сфере робототехники.

Главной особенностью мероприятия станет премьера передовых продуктов, от гибких четвероногих роботов, роботов-спасателей, инспекционных роботов до роботов для установки катетеров и роботизированных газонокосилок, которые позволят участникам заглянуть в будущее интеллектуальных машин.
