China's road logistics price index increased 1.8 percent year on year to reach 105 in July, according to data released by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) on Thursday.
The index edged down 0.05 percent from the previous month, reflecting a seasonal decline driven by shrinking market demand due to factors such as high temperatures and rainstorms.
The sub-index for full-truckload logistics, which mainly measures bulk commodity and regional transportation, stood at 105.6, down 0.05 percentage points month on month but up 2.1 percent year on year.
Looking ahead, the CFLP expects the index to experience minor fluctuations, as short-term supply and demand in the road logistics sector remain relatively balanced.
