U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived at the Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska, for a summit on Friday morning local time.

The two leaders shook hands and exchanged greetings on the tarmac upon their arrival at the airport.

For the meeting, Trump will be joined by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, while Putin will be accompanied by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov.
