China Media Group -- the nation's flagship broadcaster -- rolled out a ten-episode special program on Saturday to mark the 20th anniversary of President Xi Jinping's vision for green development.

The program focuses on the concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets," which was first put forward by Xi, then secretary of Communist Party of China Zhejiang Provincial Committee, during an inspection tour to Yucun Village in Anji County of Zhejiang in east China on Aug 15, 2005. It has become the core philosophy and action framework for China's eco-civilization construction.

The show explains the history and core views of the vision, and explores its applications and impacts in China and abroad.

The program also invites officials, experts, and those directly involved in China's ecological civilization construction efforts.

The show airs every day at 21:00 Beijing time from Saturday to August 25.
