"The two sides, in a positive and constructive spirit, had a candid and in-depth exchange of views on the China-India boundary question and reached several consensus during the 24th round of talks between the special representatives of China and India on the boundary question. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and India. Both sides, guided by the consensus of the heads of state that China and India are partners and opportunities for each other, are working to consolidate the momentum of improving bilateral relations, safeguard peace and stability in the border areas, and find the right path for the two neighboring major countries to respect and trust each other, exist in peace, develop side by side, and cooperate for win-win results."

China has called for joint efforts with India to preserve peace and stability in border areas, following the 24th round of talks between the special representatives of the two countries on the boundary question held recently in India.
The two sides reached a 10-point consensus and agreed to use the border management mechanisms at diplomatic and military levels to carry forward the process of border management.
