"It is known to all that China-U.S. ties are the most important bilateral relations in today's world. For China and the United States, two major countries, peaceful coexistence is the fundamental bottom line that we must uphold, and equality, respect and mutual benefit are the right way for us to engage each other. Decoupling or severing industrial and supply chains is not the right or realistic option. Antagonism or confrontation will only hurt both sides."
