Ginkgo trees in China have entered their golden prime, drawing visitors to enjoy the glowing autumn scenery and a rich mix of seasonal cultural experiences.

The 11th Ditan Ginkgo Cultural Festival is now underway at the Ditan Park, as Beijing enters its prime season for viewing ginkgo trees, which typically peaks from late October to mid-November.

Visitors and photography enthusiasts are flocking to the park, cameras in hand, to capture the dazzling autumn scenes.

More than 200 ginkgo trees in the park have turned golden, reaching their peak viewing period. Bathed in warm autumn sunlight, the park's ancient architecture and golden foliage form a striking harmony -- red walls and gray tiles set against shimmering yellow leaves, showcasing the timeless charm of the capital.

The festival, running until Nov 16, not only allows visitors to admire the golden autumn scenery but also features a lively market brimming with local foods and creative handicrafts, enabling them to savor treats, browse artisan goods, and immerse themselves in a rich autumn cultural atmosphere.

Standing 26.7 meters tall with a trunk 15.7 meters in diameter, the tree turns brilliant yellow every early November. Tourists strolling beneath its canopy find themselves immersed in a living painting of golden hues.

"The moment I saw the sea of golden leaves, I was truly amazed. I've taken a lot of beautiful photos here. It's really photogenic," said Liu Min, a visitor.

Embracing the season, local authorities have organized a series of cultural events centered on ginkgo, including markets for cultural and creative products, as well as photography exhibitions, offering tourists a rich autumn travel experience.
