Iranians marked the National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance on Tuesday by holding nationwide rallies to show their defiance against U.S. hegemony.

The rally in Tehran gathered tens of thousands of participants holding the Iranian national flag and anti-U.S. signs.

"The United States attempts to take away Iran's independence with their hollow promises like prosperity and progress and make a deal with Iran. But history has proved that Iran will never trade its independence for anything," Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said when addressing the crowd.

A participant said the United States, which has committed serious crimes across the world, aims to hobble Iran's development.

"The United States is untrustworthy. We have never seen the country deliver on its promises or do anything credible. Wherever the Americans go, they leave behind only wars and sufferings. As for Iran, it is no different. The United States covets Iran's national resources with greed," said Mohammad Reza, a rallygoer.

Another said negotiating with the United States is pointless, since Washington uses the talks to force Iran to surrender.

"What they call negotiation is not negotiation at all. In fact, what they want to get from the negotiations is to force Iran to surrender. They know nothing about negotiation. The arrogant superpower, the United States, is doing everything to force other countries into submission. They talk about democracy, negotiation, and understanding, but actually, their hands are stained with the blood of people from many other countries," said Ali, another participant.

On Nov 4, 1979, Iranian university students took over the U.S. embassy in Tehran. Every year on this day, the Iranians commemorate the seizure of the embassy with anti-U.S. demonstrations.

Des manifestations anti-américaines massives ont eu lieu mardi à Téhéran et d'autres villes iraniennes, à l'occasion de la Journée nationale de lutte contre l'arrogance mondiale.

Des dizaines de milliers de personnes, dont le président du Parlement iranien, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, ont pris part à un rassemblement à Téhéran, brandissant des drapeaux et scandant des slogans anti-américains.

"Les États-Unis veulent priver l'Iran de son indépendance avec des promesses creuses comme la prospérité ou le progrès, et chercher à conclure un accord avec l'Iran. Mais tout au long de son histoire, l'Iran n'a jamais échangé son indépendance contre quoi que ce soit," a déclaré Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

Les manifestants ont déclaré que les États-Unis avaient commis de graves crimes à travers le monde et avaient comme objectif fondamental d'entraver son développement de l'Iran.

"Les États-Unis ne sont pas dignes de confiance. Nous n’avons jamais vu ce pays tenir ses promesses ou faire quoi que ce soit de crédible. Partout où les Américains passent, ils ne laissent derrière eux que des guerres et des souffrances. Pour l’Iran, ce n’est pas différent. Les États-Unis convoitent avec avidité les ressources nationales de l’Iran", a estimé Mohammad Reza, un manifestant.

Certains manifestants ont souligné que les négociations avec les États-Unis au cours de la dernière décennie n’avaient abouti à aucun résultat concret et que les États-Unis avaient utilisé ces négociations comme un leurre pour contraindre l’Iran à capituler.

"Ce qu’ils appellent négociation n’est pas du tout une négociation. En réalité, ce qu’ils cherchent à obtenir à travers la négociation est de forcer l’Iran à capituler. احتفل الإيرانيون بـ"اليوم الوطني لمقارعة الاستكبار العالمي"، يوم الثلاثاء/4 نوفمبر الجاري، بتنظيم تظاهرات عبر البلاد للتعبير عن رفضهم للهيمنة الأمريكية.

وشهدت المظاهرة في طهران مشاركة عشرات الآلاف من المشاركين رافعين العلم الوطني الإيراني ولافتات معادية للولايات المتحدة.

وقال رئيس مجلس الشورى الإيراني، محمد باقر قاليباف، في كلمة له أمام الحشد: "تحاول الولايات المتحدة سلب استقلال إيران بوعودها الجوفاء، كالازدهار والتقدم، وعقد صفقة معها. لكن التاريخ أثبت أن إيران لن تتنازل عن استقلالها مقابل أي شيء."

كما قال أحد المشاركين إن الولايات المتحدة، التي ارتكبت جرائم خطيرة في جميع أنحاء العالم، تهدف إلى عرقلة التنمية في إيران.

وقال محمد رضا، أحد المشاركين في المظاهرة: "الولايات المتحدة لا تستحق الثقة. لم نرَها تفي بوعودها أو تفعل أي شيء ذي مصداقية. أينما حل الأمريكيون، يجلبون معهم الحروب والمعاناة، والأمر لا يختلف بالنسبة لإيران. الولايات المتحدة تطمع في موارد إيران الوطنية بجشع شديد."

قال آخر إن التفاوض مع الولايات المتحدة لا طائل منه، لأن واشنطن تستغل المحادثات لإجبار إيران على الاستسلام.

في 4 نوفمبر 1979، استولى طلاب جامعيون إيرانيون على السفارة الأمريكية في طهران. وفي هذا اليوم من كل عام، يُحيي الإيرانيون ذكرى الاستيلاء على السفارة بمظاهرات مناهضة للولايات المتحدة.

Los iraníes conmemoraron el martes el Día Nacional de Lucha contra la Arrogancia Global mediante manifestaciones en todo el país para demostrar su desafío a la hegemonía estadounidense.
La concentración en Teherán reunió a decenas de miles de manifestantes que portaban banderas nacionales iraníes y pancartas contra Estados Unidos.

"Estados Unidos intenta arrebatar la independencia de Irán con promesas vacías de prosperidad y progreso si se llega a un acuerdo. Pero la historia ha demostrado que Irán jamás negociará su independencia", declaró el presidente del Parlamento iraní, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, ante la multitud.

Un participante afirmó que Estados Unidos, que ha cometido graves crímenes en todo el mundo, busca obstaculizar el desarrollo de Irán.

"Estados Unidos no es confiable. Nunca hemos visto al país cumplir sus promesas ni hacer algo creíble. Dondequiera que van los estadounidenses, solo dejan guerras y sufrimiento. Con Irán no es diferente. Estados Unidos codicia con avidez los recursos nacionales iraníes", crítico Mohammad Reza, un manifestante.

Otro participante señaló que negociar con Estados Unidos carece de sentido, ya que Washington utiliza las conversaciones para forzar la rendición de Irán.

El 4 de noviembre de 1979, estudiantes universitarios iraníes tomaron la Embajada estadounidense en Teherán. Cada año en esta fecha, los iraníes conmemoran la toma de la embajada con manifestaciones antiestadounidenses.

　イランで「National Day of Fight against Global Arrogance（世界的傲慢に対して戦う国家的記念日）」として知られている11月4日、米国の覇権に抗議する全国規模の集会が開かれた。

　首都テヘランで行われたデモ行進には数万人が集結し、米国の覇権に対する非難を示すため、イランの弾道ミサイルと核遠心分離機のポスターや模型を掲げた。
