The fierce fighting between Russia and Ukraine had continued raging on around Krasnoarmeysk (known as Pokrovsk in Ukraine) in Donetsk on Tuesday.

The Russian defense ministry said that its forces repelled ten breakouts of the Ukrainian forces from north and northwest of Krasnoarmeysk over the past 24 hours, and were expanding their positions from the east side of the city and penetrating deep into Ukraine's defenses.

The Russian armed forces launched multiple strikes against energy and transportation infrastructure and ammunition production facilities that support Ukrainian military-industrial complex, and they also struck temporary deployment points of Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries, the ministry said.

On the same day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that Ukrainian special forces conducted helicopter landings and operations in Pokrovsk, and the military operations in designated areas were still ongoing as Ukrainian forces repelled 55 Russian offensives.

The Ukrainian troops also clashed with the Russian forces in Kupyansk and Zaporizhzhia over the past day, the Ukrainian side said.
