China's policy on the United States has remained consistent, said Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ming at a press briefing in Beijing on Wednesday.
Mao made the remarks in response to a media query about U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's claim that China is an "unreliable partner," while just a few days earlier U.S. President Donald Trump said his meeting with President Xi Jinping was "amazing."
