"King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of Thailand will be invited to pay a state visit to China from Nov.13 to 17. President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang will meet with him separately. This will be the first visit by a Thai monarch to China since the two countries established diplomatic relationship. King Maha Vajiralongkorn has chosen China as the first major country for his formal visit, which fully embodies the high importance both sides attach to advancing China-Thailand relations."

At the invitation of President Xi Jinping, King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua of the Kingdom of Thailand will pay a state visit to China from November 13 to 17, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said at a press briefing in Beijing on Thursday.
"This will be the first visit by a Thai monarch to China since the two countries established diplomatic relationship. King Maha Vajiralongkorn has chosen China as the first major country for his formal visit, which fully embodies the high importance both sides attach to advancing China-Thailand relations," said Mao.
