At the ongoing 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, China, the technology and equipment exhibition area has drawn wide attention, with a range of intelligent products highlighting how AI is transforming traditional household appliances and leading to a smarter and easier way of living.
Among them, a "smart refrigerator" attracted considerable interest. Supported by AI technology, the refrigerator can memorize up to 37 types of food and automatically suggest recipes based on the stored ingredients.
"It can automatically recognize what's inside the refrigerator. For example, if we have an apple and click to search for recipes, it will recommend a recipe and guide you through every step, from cutting to cooking, to complete the entire cooking," said exhibitor named Lu Zhixiao..
In the automobile sector, upgraded power-assisted steering technology is also on display. With the push of a button, drivers can turn the steering wheel with only half of the effort.
